ARC Arqueología Clandestina

About — (02)

The Project

In the mountains of Tepoztlán, Morelos, intimate architecture ruptures the fabric of the ordinary. Space ceases to be measurable as it becomes a living system, pulsating into possibility. Time bends to planetary rhythm rather than the clock. What unfolds is less an event than an alignment; a brief configuration of matter, myth, and appetite that will not recur in this exact form again.

Arqueología Clandestina is a unique project that merges the realms of design, art, and research. We treat this multidisciplinary approach as an adaptive system, broaching new movements and connections that resonate with art collectors, fellow creators, and academics alike.

Approach

We foster connections and inspire dialogue, inviting visitors to explore the intricate layers of our work. Our project draws on visual and conceptual language through various forms of design — avant-garde fashion, silversmithing, muralists, culinary journeys, cultural dialogue, and much more.

The Archive

A Pre-Hispanic inspired collection of symbols, motifs and other tools for artists lives behind. Our tiered membership gives access to events, a growing and monthly released private collection, and workshop use in Tepoztlán. Enter the Archive or contact us for more information.

Open Call — November 2026 / February 2027

Call for Artists

Arqueología Clandestina hosts an event every Saturday in Tepoztlán, Morelos. We offer a yearly membership based programme with access to our archive, a store front for your work, and collaboration with other designers. Our experience is available without a membership for a dinner and access to our storefront.

We are programming November 2026 through February 2027, and are looking for artists — emerging or established.
